Job Title: Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced
Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager to join our team in
North West London on a hybrid working basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and leading health and safety management across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the lead subject matter expert for asbestos management and health & safety compliance
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety at Work Act
- Oversee asbestos surveys, risk assessments, management plans, and remediation works
- Manage and monitor appointed asbestos consultants and contractors
- Provide professional advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, contractors, and senior management
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
- Develop, review, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and systems
- Carry out audits, inspections, and performance monitoring
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership
Essential Requirements- Proven experience in asbestos management and health & safety within housing, property, or construction environments
- Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety and asbestos legislation
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, BOHS, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Experience managing external consultants and contractors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid role
